The Saturdays are an English-Irish female group headquartered in London, England, United Kingdom, and established in 1997. It comprises of Frankie Bridge, Una Foden, Rochelle Humphrey, Mollie King, and Vanessa White as well as other members. They were discovered by Fascination Records, who signed them to a record contract with the label as well as a sub-division of Polydor Records immediately after their formation. 

Within a few of weeks of signing their deal, the band embarked on a tour with Girls Aloud as part of their Tangled Up Tour. The group’s primary musical style is pop, although they have also dabbled with modern R&B, dance-pop, and electropop during their career, as well. It was awarded platinum certification by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) and went on to generate three more top 10 singles, “Up,” “Issues,” and “Just Can’t Get Enough.” The song “Work” was also released as a single from the album. 2009 saw the band embark on their first concert tour, dubbed “The Work Tour.” Wordshaker was published as the group’s second studio album and yielded two top ten singles, “Forever Is Over” and “Ego,” among others.
