Meet The Cast Of MTV’s Love At First Lie – Who Are The Eight Couples Vying For The Prize Money?

MTV has recently announced its new show where eight couples will be profiled in Love at First Lie. The hitch is that some of these couples aren’t actually dating each other.

They could not even be familiar with one another very well. Which couples are fake and which are real is up to the other participants to decide.

After each of the 12 episodes, there will be a Truth Ceremony where couples will vote one pair off. A prize money fund will receive a $25k boost if they are successful in getting rid of a group of liars. The last couple, whether they are real or not, will take the entire up to $100,000 fund home with them. The bogus couples will be easy to guess for fans at home as well. Similar to The Masked Singer, but with lies instead of masks.

Everyone’s ability to spot a lie will be put to the test by Tori Spelling’s latest MTV reality show, Love at First Lie. Here is all the information you need to be aware of regarding the concept and cast of the relationship mystery competition.

Meet The Host – Tori Spelling

The first-ever season of MTV’s relationship mystery competition series has begun. On Wednesday, October 12 at 9:30 p.m., “Love at First Lie,” hosted by Tori Spelling, will have its global television debut on MTV in the US and in more than 170 other nations.

12 episodes will make up the reality show as fans attempt to discern which couples are acting sincere and which are not.

The “Beverly Hills, 90210” actress Spelling previously co-hosted “Messiness,” the fourth “Ridiculousness” spinoff, with Nicole Polizzi, Adam Rippon, and Teddy Ray. The Masked Singer, Celebrity Show-Off, and True Tori are just a few of the reality shows in which she has appeared. She co-produced and acted in Fox’s “BH90210” in 2019.

Tori is the daughter of television and movie producer Aaron Spelling and Candy Spelling. Randy, her younger brother, is a former actor who started working as a life coach in 2009.

Jewish families whose ancestors who immigrated to the US from Poland and Russia made up Spelling’s parents. David, her paternal grandfather, gave her the middle name. She graduated from the prestigious private school Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California.

The Cast Members of Love at First Lie

To avoid any early speculation about the relationships of the couples participating in Love at First Lie, MTV hasn’t divulged too much about them. But we do know what their names are. The eight couples are listed below.

1. Riani and Chantz

The first couple revealed on the show was Riani and Chantz. The happy-go-lucky young couple shot a short video about themselves for the official Instagram handle of the show, and fans have already started liking them as a couple. However, it is now up to us to find out the truth and lies they have to offer.

The 22-year-old Riani, and Chantz, her 23-year-old ” are both from Chicago. Riani works as an esthetician, whilst Chantz has been modeling for the past five years as a runway print model. 2014’s homecoming was where the couple first met, and Chantz was smitten by Riani’s beauty right away. He asked her to a dance, and the rest is history for the couple. On Riani’s birthday, the two decided to make their love official. She even gets excited to share this because that day, the lady is entitled to two gifts.

Both of them believe Chantz is more romantic as he is extremely affectionate. He likes to take time to make his partner happy, basically making an effort to take her out for dates and more.

2. Monica and Josh

The ‘Monsh’ basically is from the United States and has been announced as another promising couple on the show.

Josh, a 24-year-old from Brooklyn, New York, and Monica, a Cuban-American, is 25 years old. They both hail from New Jersey. The pair met on Instagram, and after Monica developed an eye infection on their first date, Josh nearly stood her up. However, the couple only got together once her eyesight improved, and they’ve been dating for over a year and a half at this point.

Monica says that Josh asked her out, but she turned him down due to her swollen eye, but eventually, they had to meet, and the rest, as they say, is history. Apart from very little said by the couple, their ship name is already loved by the fans, and they are excited to see more about them.

3. Jake and Alfie

Alfie, a 25-year-old retail manager from Essex who met Jake online, fell in love with him right away. The 21-year-old Jake proposed to the attractive Cambridge student on their first date. Since they have been dating for the past 18 months, the couple is quite content with one another.

The duo talked about their first date, and this was quite confusing for both of them. However, when it comes to the favorite time of the day, Jake is more of a night person, and Alfie is more of a morning person.

Jake is a hopeless romantic, and she usually takes the love of her life to random places and makes him feel special every time.

4. Annabell and Joey

Joe and Annabell were both raised in the UK. However, the pair has been employed in Dubai for the last five years.

The 29-year-old Joe is a partner in a business, while 28-year-old Annabell is a “content creator.” Initially meeting while attending college, they were unable to be together because they were taken at the time. Joe entered Annabell’s DMs as soon as they both became single, and the rest is history. Seven years have passed since the pair started dating.

When asked about Joey’s worst habit, Annebelle says it was a lack of attention while she was sharing something with him. he is constantly on his phone, pretending to be listing to her when in reality, he is on his own, not knowing anything she said.

On the other hand, Anabelle is messy and talks a lot. This is agreed upon by both of them unanimously. Joey is a Virgo, and he likes to be organized, which automatically makes him not want to take the messier side of his girlfriend.

5. Karla and Brian

28-year-old Karla met 25-year-old Brian in a casino. In order to get Karla to give him her business card, Brian purposefully continued falling short in front of her. Following that, the Rhode Island pair reconnected and have been dating ever since.

Brian’s worst habit is leaving things around and not managing the toilet seats. On the other hand, Karla is bossy and romantic.
