He released his second memoir in 2009, “The Ticking is the Bomb.” His book exploits the Abu Ghraib scandal.

Flynn’s poetry collections include Blind Huber (2002), The Captain Asks for a Show of Hands (2011), and My Feelings (2015). He also wrote Alice Invents a Little Game and Alice Always Wins (2008).

During his career, Nick has won many awards for his poetry and playwright. His first poem, “Some Ether,” won the PEN/Joyce Osterweil Award in 1999.
